Mr. McKinney has been active in the fields of trade and investment law and policy over the past eight years. He attended the Washington College of Law at American University where he served as President of WCL’s International Trade and Investment Law Society and won the Best Orator award for the North American round of the European Law Student Association’s 2010 WTO Moot Court competition. He was also a staff member of the American Bar Association’s Administrative Law Review. As an undergraduate at the University of Miami, he was the inaugural recipient of the Robert M. Levine Award for Excellence in Latin American Studies for his research on Brazil’s investment regime. He now works as an Associate at TradeWinsLLC, a trade law and policy consultancy based in Washington, DC, and is admitted to practice law in Florida.
